    Alexandra Irina Măruţă (born August 23, 1986 in Câmpia Turzii as Alexandra Irina Mihai) 1 is a Romanian pop singer and television presenter better known as Andra. From 2011 he was part of the jury of the popular television program Românii au talent. In 2014 he won the MTV Europe Music Award for "Best Artist in Romania".

   Andra began her musical career at the age of 7 and had her first major musical performance in a contest called Tip Top Minitop as guest, playing Whitney Houston's song "I Will Always Love You." In addition to contemporary music, He could also sing popular music, so they went to a contest called Pe fir de baladă at the age of 9, which was held in Târgu Jiu, where he could not finish in the top three, but he did earn a special mention . At age 11, he participated in a folk music competition, Toamna Arişeană, where he won the first prize this time.

    Like his father, Alexandru Mihai, Andra decided to participate in a music contest held in Bucharest organized by Titus Munteanu. 450 children participated in the competition and Andra managed to qualify. At the age of 14 she recorded her self-titled debut album Andra, produced by Costi Ioniţă. The album contains 10 songs and proved to be very successful.

    In 2011 he was a member of the jury of the popular television program Românii au talent, from Pro TV, which was the most viewed broadcast of the year in Romania. She has a son.
